The basics

This is the first tutorial, learning some of the most basics things in Dreamweaver.

To start to develop a website, the first thing you will need to do is to set up an area on your computer. This area/folder will contain everything you are putting on your website form images to external documents.
To do so create a new folder on your computer and name it testingsite (you can basically call it whatever you prefer).  Then you will need to open Dreamweaver and in the top menu bar click site> new site. Enter the name of the site and then select the folder you created in step 1.
You have now created your first web site!

Step by step:
1. Create folder
2. Inn Dw click site> new site
3. Enter preferred name and select folder from step 1

Note: It's very important to contain all objects used on the webpage in the folder. If you for example put your banner on your desktop ans insert it in your site, it wont appear when the site is uploaded to you host.
